What is the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking?
In 2010, the University of Indonesia (UI) launched a ranking of world universities known as the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking to measure campus sustainability efforts.
It is an online survey created to indicate the sustainability policies and programs of universities around the world.
We created the ranking based on the concepts of environment, economy and equality. Rating indicators and categories are designed to be suitable for everyone. The 2010 version of the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking featured 95 universities from 35 countries.
Including 18 universities from America, 35 from Europe, 40 from Asia and 2 from Australia.
In 2022, 1050 universities from 85 countries of the world participated. This shows that UI has been recognized as the first global university ranking for sustainability by GreenMetric.
In this ranking, the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina took the 924th place in 2022.
