Nature protection has become one of the most urgent problems of today. A number of environmental problems, such as scientific and technical progress, various demographic processes, and global climate change, are of reasonable concern to the world community today.
In this regard, large-scale reforms have been carried out in our country, and special attention is being paid to the issues of land and surface resources, flora and fauna, protected by a separate clause of our Constitution, as well as a number of relevant laws, their rational use, and their preservation and transmission to future generations.
The main goal of this campaign was to combat the effects of climate change, create a comfortable environment by voluntarily bringing people together, and draw the public’s attention to the problems of preserving, restoring, and reproducing trees in Uzbekistan.

On the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, within the framework of the national project “Green Space” “Dolzarb 40 days” on tree planting was announced.
As part of the project, planting of tree and shrub seedlings was organized in all regions of our region.
In the fountain square named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, students of the 3rd stage of the Faculty of Pediatrics of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, with the participation of the chairman of the Regional Agency for Youth Work, the national movement “Yuksalish” in support of such initiatives aimed at increasing the number of trees, launched the campaign “One million trees” in the city of Bukhara. In order to continue, they planted saplings and supported such activities and green initiatives aimed at increasing the number of trees in Uzbekistan, the contributions of various organizations to the expansion and preservation of greenery in our country, and the creation of a prosperous environment.

Our activities in SDG 15 are also linked to these other Sustainable Development Goals.
