An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to challenging problems of oncology was held in Bukhara

Yesterday, the international scientific and practical conference in the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, attended by visiting scientists from prestigious institutions of the world in the field of oncology and experts from the leading higher educational institutions of our country, started its work. Experienced and young scientists from the Central Asian countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, as well as from Korea, Mongolia, Turkey, Russia, and Austria in various areas of the field participated in the conference. At the conference, the possibilities of wide use of modern methods of combating oncological diseases were analyzed and scientists exchanged experiences.

At the conference, lectures on topics such as “Modern state of diagnosis and treatment of hepatopancreato-duodenal tumors in Uzbekistan”, “Esophageal cancer: multidisciplinary approach to treatment”, “Immunohistochemical diagnosis of oncological diseases”, “Gastrointestinal tract lymphomas” were heard.

The conference “Young oncologists” was organized as part of the event, and young doctors working in this field in different regions of the country took part in their lectures.

At the international conference, important topics related to the field of oncology were discussed in separate meetings. In it, experts gave information about important achievements in the treatment and prevention of diseases in recent years.

Also, experts exchanged opinions on modern diagnostics in oncology, surgical oncology, and personalized therapy.

Within the framework of the conference, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Department of Oncology of Moscow State Medical University named after Sechenov and Bukhara Dalat Medical Institute.
