On 21 February 2025, the First Meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Partnership Network of Leading Universities (PNLU) was held within the framework of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku, Azerbaijan. Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute participated in this meeting as the coordinating university from Uzbekistan. The event gathered representatives of leading universities from CICA member states to discuss the promotion of academic excellence, scientific collaboration, and strengthening educational cooperation.
From 6 to 10 October 2025, the 2nd International Conference of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Hubs will be held in Athens, Greece. This high-level forum will bring together universities from around the world to exchange views on the role of higher education and research institutions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. By actively engaging in these two prestigious international platforms, Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute continues to contribute to the expansion of international integration within the higher education system of Uzbekistan.
Membership in MESCA Foundation
We are proud to be a member of the MESCA Foundation (Medical Excellence and Science in Central Asia) — a non-profit organization established in Switzerland in 2021 and active in Uzbekistan since 2022. The foundation focuses on promoting medical research, healthcare innovation, training, and improving public health across Central Asia.As a member institution, Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute collaborates with MESCA in areas such as: joint research and clinical projects, training and capacity building of students, medical professionals, exchange of knowledge and resources.
